International Geographical Congress, 24-30 August 2024, Dublin, Ireland

Sponsored and organised jointly by the International Geographical Union Young and Early Career Geographers Taskforce (IGU-YECG) and Young Geographer Working Group of Asian Geographical Association (AGA-YGWG), this paper session(s) will present an opportunity for young scholars across the world and across cross-cutting disciplines to present their work in any relevant geography-related issues that can connect to and help enhance our understandings and conceptualisations of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Original work that adopts a relational perspective and showcases how to address theoretical, methodological, and empirical issues in the implementation of SDGs is particularly welcome. Two best paper awards of USD200 (First) and USD 100 (Second) along with a certificate will be given to current PhD students submitting a first-authored, original research paper dealing with relevant geographical research in any part of the world. Sponsored by the IGUYECG-AGAYGWG, this award competition will include an invitation for submission of full research paper(s).
